A man who allegedly robbed a vehicle at gunpoint back in June 2020 was arrested by state police officers.

The state Attorney General’s office said Saúl, no age reported, had an outstanding arrest warrant for shooting a firearm, causing injuries and robbery.

The authorities said the incident was reported in Fuente de Medusa Avenue in the Colonia Voluntad area on June 14, 2020.

The victim told the police the suspect allegedly approached him and brandished a firearm. The victim was forced to exit his silver 2013 Ford Fiesta.

The suspect then presumably punched the victim’s head and later shot at the vehicle owner.

The victim had an injury in the face.

The suspect fled on the Ford Fiesta. According to the agency the suspect was booked in Mexicali Prison.
