A man who presumably robbed an immigrant shelter was apprehended by state police officers, the state Attorney General’s office said.
The suspect was identified as Ricardo Doe, no age reported.
The individual was presumably involved in the June 27 robbery of the Casa de Migrantes Betania shelter.
The suspect arrived in the scene, located in the intersection of Lago Hudson Street and Toronto Ave. in Colonia Xochimilco neighborhood and took several items.
Then, the suspect allegedly threatened a volunteer with a knife, the agency said. The suspect was booked in Mexicali prison.
