An individual who allegedly trespassed into a property was arrested by the home’s resident.
The victim was able to detain the suspect after being injured in a finger, the police said.
The incident was reported at 2 a.m. in a residence located in 3207 Hungría Street in the Nacionalista neighborhood.
The suspect was identified as Guillermo Miguel, 37.
The authorities said the victim found the suspect in the residence front yard.
After being discovered the suspect brandished a machete and caused an injury to the victim.
However, the resident was able to detain the suspect until the police arrival.
The suspect was transported to the Police Headquarters.
