After the number of active COVID-19 cases has significantly decreased on both sides of the border the number of dentist visits in Mexicali has increased.
La Voz newspaper reported that last year 1.9 million people visited Baja California seeking medical services.
In the State’s capital city about seven out of every 10 dental office visitors come from the other side of the border, College Graduated Dentists Association Chairman Normando Driottz told the newspaper.
Most of those foreign patients seek services like endodontic, prosthesis and aesthetic procedures.
The association chairman explained that some services cost about a quarter of the same services in the US.
