An armed man was caught by Mexicali police early Saturday after allegedly causing a disturbance outside a strip club, according to media reports.

The arrest took place at 5 a.m. at La Mosca strip club, located in the Colonia Cuauhtémoc Sur area.

The suspect was identified by the police as Luis Antonio, 38.

According to the reports, club employees notified the police about the armed man inside the site.

Upon arrival, the police were told about the suspect, who arrived in a 2004 Jeep Liberty.

The police apprehended the suspect.

The authorities seized a .223 caliber rifle loaded with 18 ammunition rounds and a .40 caliber firearm loaded with a magazine and 11 ammunition rounds.

According to the reports the suspect allegedly threatened other people at the scene.
