A man was arrested Friday evening in alleged possession of a firearm close to a bar, the police said.

According to the authorities the incident took place at 10:40 p.m. at Paseo de Los Robles Avenue and Benito Juarez Boulevard in Fraccionamiento Los Pinos subdivision.

The suspect was identified as Hector Gabriel, 23, aka Galicia.

The police said agents observed the suspect while making a scandal on the street while driving a black 2011 Ford Taurus.

The suspect was stopped and while inspecting the individual’s vehicle the police found a 9 mm firearm loaded with a magazine and eleven rounds of ammunition. The suspect was turned to the Mexican Attorney General’s office for firearms violations.
