Two men were arrested by state police officers in alleged possession of firearms, a state official said.
Baja California Public Safety Board chair Francisco Ramos said the suspects were identified as Jose and Ruben.
The suspects were apprehended in an undisclosed area of Mexicali in alleged possession of two handguns, nineteenth rounds of ammunition, two magazines, close to a pound of marijuana and a vehicle.
In a separate case, state police officers arrested two individuals who were identified as Daniel and Eduardo who were sought for homicide. No other details were provided.
