Baja California Governor Marina Avila said Wednesday statewide in school instruction is expected to return soon.

After close to two years closed, schools are expected to widely reopen soon after the decrease of Covid-19 cases.

The return to school will be held in all education levels.

In the last weeks, schools had been slowly reopening, with private schools partially returning to in school classes.

Gov. Avila said the imminent reopening is being considered after the fourth wave of the pandemic.

The governor asked parents and officials to start preparing for in school instruction.

Previous to the reopening, the state plans to hold meetings with teacher unions to determine the reopening date.
