The Mexican Pacific Baseball League announced that the 2022 season has been set to begin on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

The date was set during a recent meeting of the League President’s Council.

That day Aguilas de Mexicali will face Sultanes de Monterrey.

The Nuevo León, Mexico, team will visit the feathered club two days later.

The league said clubs will be allowed to have up to six foreign born players.

According to the league the national player draft will take place in July 5 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.

The foreign born player draft has yet to be scheduled.
