Mexicali Catholic Bishop José Isidro Guerrero Macías has been connected to a ventilator in order to keep him breathing, a Diocese official said Tuesday.
Diocese Vicar General Arnoldo Rascón said in a prepared statement that the bishop has responded positively to the treatment.
The vicar general reported last week Bishop Guerrero was diagnosed with the SARS-Cov-2. Rascón asked Catholics to pray for the bishop’s health and for those who are ill.
