The Department of Agriculture and Food Safety announced the fifth annual Cheese, Meat, Wine and Craft Beer Festival that takes place Saturday.

The event will take place at the AgroBaja grounds located by the San Felipe Highway. Tickets cost about $7.50.

Children up to 12 years of age enter for free.

The event includes about 70 makers of wine, cheese, meat, craft beer, dates and other vegetables, as well as grill fans and paella and seafood cooks. The festival also includes dancing groups and live music. Secretary Juan Meléndrez said the event seeks to become a showcase for local businessmen.
