A man who allegedly robbed a store Sunday morning was nabbed by Mexicali police officers.
The suspect was identified as Efrain, 25.
The incident was reported at 11:37 a.m. in a store located in the intersection of Chila Street and Domingo Arenas Street in the Misión de Puebla neighborhood.
A 27-year-old female employee told the police the suspect entered the store and brandished a knife to demand cash.
The employee gave the suspect about $100 in Mexican currency.
The suspect tried to flee on foot, but was nabbed blocks ahead. The suspect was caught with the knife and transported to the East Substation.
