A man and a woman were apprehended by Mexicali police for the murder of a 22-year-old man.

The authorities said the suspects were identified as Suzzette, 25, aka Pepsi, and Gerardo Manuel, 25, aka Chino.

The police said the victim was allegedly assaulted by two men and a woman.

Police officers arrested the woman just outside the General Hospital where one of the suspects was transported to.

The suspect male was injured in the abdomen and was taken to the hospital. Police officers arrested the woman for matching the description provided by a homicide witness, the police said.
