A man and a woman who allegedly robbed a store at gunpoint have been indicted by a judge, the state Attorney General’s office said.
According to the authorities Graciela and Andres were indicted for the robbery of the store located in Conjunto Urbano Universitario neighborhood.
The agency did not report about the time and date of the crime.
The authorities said the man arrived at the cash register and brandished a pistol to demand cash.
The suspect allegedly took 3,500 pesos or about $175 and fled along with the woman.
Police agents arrested the couple after the robbery. The officers seized the gun and the cash.
The judge decided to keep the suspects in prison during trial and gave prosecutors two months to close the investigation.
