Dozens of Baja California prisoners will get benefited by the Presidential Decree recently signed.

La Voz newspaper reported that 63 prisoners over 65 years of age and under custody for over a decade without sentence are expected to be freed with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador decree.

Nationwide 682 prisoners are expected to get out of custody, Secretary of Government Adán López said. The decree does not include those individuals in prison for violent crimes like kidnapping, organized crime, human smuggling and others.
