While the number of registered employees who get paid two minimum wage salaries climbed in October to 426,085 in Baja California, the amount of workers who are paid more than three minimum wages has declined.

Baja California Economic Studies Center President Roberto Valero reported that between October 2019 and the same month of last year the Mexican Institute of Social Security registered over 90,000 new workers.

However, the amount of two minimum wage workers increased in 135,728.

At the same time, those who earn three minimum wages and more decreased I’m about 45,000.

In November, the State’s economy added close to 2,500 new jobs to surpass the 1 million job threshold.
