Mexican General Hospital clarified late Monday the issue shown by several media outlets regarding a Covid-19 patient who fainter just outside the hospital.
In a prepared statement the Hospital said the patient was seeking a so-called Fever Clinic, where Covid-19 patients get healthcare services.
The patient, whose name has not been released, is registered in the Mexican Institute of Social Security.
Around noon Monday the patient was on his way to the closest Fever Clinic when he fainted.
Red Cross paramedics provided treatment to the patient, who was transported to Clinic 30 of the Mexican Institute.
More serious cases are turned to the University temporary hospital or are admitted in the General Hospital.
