A man was arrested Monday morning in a party event center for allegedly having sexually abused a woman, Mexicali Police said.

According to a police report, the arrest occurred at 7 a.m. in Avenida Costa Azul and Calle Costa Brava of the Fraccionamiento Manantiales area.

The suspect was identified as Ricardo “N”, 30.

According to the complainant, after having spent the night in the place during a Halloween party, she felt sexually penetrated after having gone to sleep in one of the rooms of the place.

The victim pushed the suspect and ran out of the room, the police were told.

The victim reported the events to her boyfriend, who called authorities to denounce the suspect. The police detained and arrested the alleged attacker, who was at the scene when authorities arrived.
