A man who allegedly kept his fiancé against her will was arrested early Thursday by Mexicali police agents.

The incident was notified to the authorities at 12:15 a.m. when a woman arrived in a burgundy 2017 Nissan Versa to the police station located in the intersection of Pedro Moreno Avenue and New River Boulevard.

The woman was accompanied by a man identified as Gabriel, 27.

The victim said the man, who is her ex boyfriend, arrived earlier at her residence.

The man allegedly brandished a firearm against the victim in order to stop her from fleeing.

The victim then decided to drive the vehicle as requested by the suspect. The police arrested the suspect who was in alleged possession of a Marksman imitation pistol.
