A 38-year-old man died Tuesday after an accident of an off-road vehicle during a training of the San Felipe 250 race.

According to media reports the victim was identified as Francisco Paul.

In the accident a man identified as Noé, 40, was injured.

Both victims were from San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur.

The incident was reported at 6:40 p.m. by the Mile 78 Mark by the Borrego area.

Paramedics and firefighters were deployed to the scene.

According to the reports two vehicles were involved in the traffic accident. The race will take place during the weekend, but pilots are already recognizing the trace.
