The body of a man was found Wednesday evening in a canal in a rural area with signs of foul play, according to media reports.
The corpse’s location was reported at the emergency center.
The body was found by police officers close to Ejido Nuevo León rural town.
Mexicali firefighters helped to extract the body.
According to the reports the body had several injuries. The body was transported to the state Coroner’s office.
