A man who allegedly attempted to kill another male in a shooting back in Sept. 2020 in a Mexicali eatery was indicted by a state judge.
The state Attorney General’s office said Victor Manuel, aka Flaco, no age reported, was indicted for the shooting of a victim in a seafood restaurant located by San Pedro Mezquital Avenue.
The suspect allegedly shot the victim in the back and a leg.
The authorities said the incident was caused by previous issues between the suspect and the victim. The judge gave prosecutors two months to close the investigation and decided to keep the suspect in prison during trial.
