A man who has been accused of his girlfriend’s murder was indicted for homicide by a state judge.

The state Attorney General’s office said the judge indicted Jonathan Doe, no age reported, for the Nov. 25 alleged killing of Fabiola Lizeth Doe.

The authorities said the couple has had a relationship for two years.

The agency said the suspect allegedly assaulted the victim with a metal tube while the woman was sleeping. The judge decided to keep the suspect in prison during trial and gave prosecutors two months to close the investigation.
