A man who allegedly ran over a Mexicali cop two weeks ago while attempting to invade East Port of Entry lanes was indicted by a state judge.
The state Attorney General’s office said the suspect was identified as Moisés.
The individual has been accused of causing injuries to a Mexicali police officer, the prosecuting agency said.
According to the authorities the suspect was driving a 2018 Toyota Yaris on Oct. 1.
The suspect attempted to invade lanes to access the port of entry.
On his way, the driver allegedly ran over a Mexicali police officer who was attempting to stop the suspect.
No other details were provided.
