A man who allegedly kept a female resident against her will last week and robbed her at gunpoint was indicted by a state judge.
The state Attorney General’s office said the judge indicted Juan Eduardo for residential robbery, damages and carjacking.
The incident took place Dec. 7 in a Fraccionamiento Vista Hermosa residence.
The suspect allegedly caused damages to the surveillance cameras in order to enter the home.
The suspect presumably tied the victim with tape and brandished a firearm.
The authorities said the suspect demanded cash and threatened the victim to kill her if the incident was reported to the police.
The individual took a 2018 Lexus vehicle keys, about $3,800 and 2,000 pesos.
The suspect was about to flee in the vehicle when the police arrived.
The judge decided to keep the suspect in prison during trial and gave prosecutors three months to end the investigation.
