A man who allegedly attempted to sexually assault, kill a woman on Oct. 7 was indicted by a state judge.

The suspect was identified by the State Attorney General’s office as Cesar Alonso, no age reported.

The man was indicted for robbery, sexual abuse, attempted homicide and causing injuries.

The suspect has been accused of arriving in a Colonia Hidalgo neighborhood company where he allegedly attempted to sexually abuse the victim. However, a victim’s coworker stopped the suspect.

The suspect allegedly arrived in the business with a knife and said was paid to steal documents. The judge decided to keep the suspect in prison during trial and gave prosecutors two months to close the investigation.
