A 22yearold man was nabbed by Mexicali police after allegedly robbing a convenience store, the police said.

The incident was reported Saturday afternoon in a store located in the Valle de Puebla area in southeastern Mexicali.

The suspect was identified as Gabriel Alexis, aka Frijol.

According to the victim two individuals arrived at the store and demanded cash.

Only one of the suspects was arrested.

The suspect has an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of weapon.

The police also apprehended Saturday two individuals in possession of a weapon in the same area.

The suspects were identified as Wilber Alejandro, 22, and Carlos Antonio, 18.

The suspects were allegedly involved in a store robbery reported Friday.

On Friday, the police arrested Andrés Alejandro, 27, for robbing a convenience store in the Casa Digna area with a wrench. The suspect was able to rob about $40 in Mexican currency from the store.
