A man was shot to death Saturday evening in a ranch located close to a subdivision, according to media reports.

The incident was notified to the police at 8:15 p.m. in Rancho Trejo.

Neighbors reported having heard several shots and police officers were deployed to the scene.

Upon arrival, the police found a 50-year-old injured man.

Relatives identified the victim as Heriberto Geronimo Gutierrez.

The police reported that a gray Toyota Tacoma was stolen from the scene. The vehicle was eventually found dismantled in Colonia Villas de la Progreso neighborhood.
