Two individuals had been indicted by a state judge for the Oct. 20 robbery of a convenience store located in Southern Mexicali, the Attorney General’s office said.

The suspects had been identified as Juan Jose and Leobardo Alberto, no ages reported.

According to the authorities the suspects arrived in a convenience store located at Fraccionamiento Portales area.

A store employee told the police the suspects arrived at the store and simulated having a firearm to demand cash.

The employee complied with the suspects demands.

The individuals fled with the cash and some merchandise on a white Ford Ranger.

However, the suspects were arrested by Mexicali police. The judge decided to keep the suspects in prison during trial and gave prosecutors a month to close the investigation.
