A Haitian man and a local resident were injured Monday morning in a drive-by shooting.

According to media reports the incident took place at 9:40 a.m. at Capelia Street and Santo Domingo Street in the Valle de los Angeles area.

The victims were identified as Michael, 17, of Haiti, and Jorge, 21, of Mexicali.

The first victim was injured in the right leg and the second one in the left leg.

The second victim was dressed in a woman’s dress.

The victims were shot from a golden-colored sedan.

Red Cross paramedics arrived at the scene to transport the victims to a hospital.

Detectives found at the scene a bullet casing. Police officers were unable to locate the suspects.
