Two men were sentenced by state judges after being found guilty of a couple robberies.
The state Attorney General’s office said in the first case Jesus Moises Ramirez Maldonado was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
The individual declared guilty after signing a plea agreement for the July 2019 robbery of a home located by the Airport Highway.
While leaving the residence the victim found the suspect, who threatened the resident with a knife.
In the second case, Omar Antonio Gonzalez Mora was sentenced through a plea agreement to five years and six months in prison for the August 2020 robbery of a convenience store located in Colonia Rivera Campestre in Southern Mexicali. The suspect threatened employees with a knife to rob cash.
