Three men who were involved in an October 2019 sexual abuse case were sentenced by a state judge to 10 years in prison.

The state Attorney General’s office said Victor Hugo Valdez Martinez, Juan Carlos Valdez Martinez and Christian Ignacio Mascareño Rocha were sentenced by the judge for the October 6, 2019, aggravated rape case.

The individuals reached a plea agreement with prosecutors that was approved by the judge.

The authorities said the individuals admitted to having trespassed the victim’s Colonia Los Arcos home.

The trio assaulted the victim and her fiancée and then sexually abused the female.

The convicted men threatened the victims in order to avoid the case being reported to the police. The then suspects attempted to flee but were arrested by state police officers.
