A state official announced that minors 5-11 will be vaccinated soon against the Covid-19.

Secretary of Public Health Adrián Medina said vaccine registration starts Thursday on a Mexican platform.

Parents must supply their children information in order to produce a vaccination record.

Minors will get the Pfizer vaccine.

The authorities expect to vaccinate over 300,000 children.

On Tuesday, Amarillas reported 154 new Covid cases, of which 61 were from Mexicali.

The state’s capital city also reports 369 active cases. Sec. Medina added that Covid-related healthcare services and hospitalizations have remained low.
