A group of over a hundred motorcycle bikers recently held a caravan to demand more respect from other drivers.

The request was made after 29 colleagues had lost their lives in traffic accidents this year.

According to bikers the issue has been caused by speed and alcohol.

Marú Terán, with the Calafias Club, said bikers had created the Biker Pro Life Committee to raise awareness among drivers. At the same time bikers started out a campaign named “Looking twice saves lives.” The campaign calls drivers to respect traffic signals while avoiding U turns in non permitted areas or invading lanes.
