Three men who are allegedly involved in the Aug. 26 murder of a rural Mexicali man were arrested by state police officers.
The state Attorney General’s office said the suspects have been identified as Rodrigo, Angel Guadalupe and Omar Abelino, no ages reported.
The individuals presumably shot Candelario Leon Cardenas, 58, to death.
The victim was shot in Ejido Benito Juarez rural town while having a meal.
The agency said the fatal shooting was caused by rivalries among criminal bands. After their arrest the suspects were booked in Mexicali Prison.
