An Albuquerque woman who was sought for probation violation was arrested by state police officers, the state Attorney General’s office said.
According to the authorities the suspect was identified as Angelica Marie, 44.
The suspect was originally arrested for assault with death weapon in first degree in Arizona.
The US Marshals requested help to find and arrest the suspect who might have fled to Mexico.
State police officers found the woman in Melgar Street and Lopez Mateos Boulevard. The woman was turned to the National Institute of Immigration for her deportation.
