Baja California Governor Marina Avila appointed a new secretary of water.
State Public Utilities Commission of Mexicali Director Armando Fernandez was appointed to the Department of Water Management and Protection, succeeding Francisco Bernal, who was appointed by the President to lead the Mexican Water Commission in Baja California.
Gov. Avila said Bernal set the basement of the new water policy of Baja California. Fernandez, an engineer of Mexicali Technological Institute, has a master’s degree in management with a minor in finances from Cetys University.
