No injuries were reported Tuesday night after the strong winds impacted the region.
However the police reported several trees went down due to the 67 kilometer per hour winds.
One of those trees was located in the west entrance of the west Port of Entry by the Pueblo Nuevo area.
Although Rainfall was expected Tuesday afternoon no showers were reported.
Mexicali Public Works staff worked to clean streets affected by trees. Some areas were left without power after blackouts affected several neighborhoods over the evening.
