No Covid-19 deaths were reported in the weekly pandemic report released Monday by state authorities.

State Secretary of Public Health Adrián Medina said the coronavirus vaccine has successfully led to the decrease of cases in Baja California.

According to the reporting in the last 7 days 435 cases have been confirmed by the agency. Of those 160 are located in Mexicali.

As of Monday the state has 638 Active cases of which Mexicali has 240.

At the same time the hospitalization rate is 0.44 per cent.

The state has also observed a decline in the number of Covid related services.

So far, the state has accumulated 135,284 cases of which 46,828 are located in Mexicali. The state has also recorded 12,157 deaths since the pandemic arrived in the state.
