A man was arrested Tuesday evening after allegedly having stolen a Mexicali police patrol car.
The incident was reported at 6:39 p.m. in Ciudad del Sol Avenue and Hector Terán Avenue in Colonia Televisora.
A police officer reported that while detaining an individual a man arrived at the scene and fled in the patrol car. The suspect, who was not identified by the police report, was apprehended blocks away and close to the police headquarters.
