A 20-year-old Phoenix man was nabbed Sunday in the city’s tourist area after allegedly shooting a firearm, according to police records.
The suspect was identified as Alexis.
According to the police the suspect was arrested at 4:13 a.m. Sunday in Benito Juárez Boulevard and Paseo del Roble Street in the Fraccionamiento Los Pinos area.
The police observed the driver of a 2009 gray Chevrolet Impala with California plates after shooting a firearm without any reason.
The police stopped the suspect, but the driver attempted to flee.
The vehicle got stuck in a curb. The suspect was arrested immediately after allegedly in possession of a Springfield pistol loaded with a magazine and two bullets. At the scene, the police found three 9 mm bullet casings.
