A Mexicali police officer died Tuesday of Covid-19, the City of Mexicali said.
Alma Lilia Romero Sicairos, whose age was not immediately reported, became the seventeenth agent that died of Coronavirus.
Mexicali Police Chief Pedro Ariel Mendívil and Mayor Norma Bustamante expressed their condolences to the agent’s family and co-workers.
The Police Fraternity said Romero Sicairos was a funny, hard-working, brave law enforcement agent. After expressing its condolences, the Fraternity asked officers to pray for the agent.
