A police supervisor was detained by his colleagues Saturday morning after allegedly shooting in Southern Mexicali.

According to media reports the individual was identified by as German Doe, no age reported.

The incident was reported to the emergency center at 8 a.m. in Characena Ave. in Fraccionamiento Portales neighborhood.

State police officers found in the area a man who was identified as German Doe, who said he was a cop.

The police officer was off duty during the shooting.

The cop and other relatives arrived in the scene to continue a party.

After an argument the suspect allegedly shot several times a .223 caliber handgun.

One of the shots injured the suspect’s sister-in-law.

State detectives found in the scene nine bullet casings. The suspect was arrested by State Attorney General’s office agents.
