Two individuals who were sought for sexual abuse were arrested by state police officers in separate incidents.

The state Attorney General’s office identified one of the suspects as Angel, aka Nico.

The suspect was accused by the victim back in April of assault and sexual abuse in a residence located in Fraccionamiento Palmar de Santa Anita neighborhood.

In the other case, the authorities apprehended Rafael Doe, no age reported, for an outstanding arrest warrant for rape.

According to the agency the suspect allegedly assaulted a woman in a ranch located east of Mexicali on Sept. 13.

The suspects were booked in Mexicali Prison.
