Two individuals who were accused of a shooting and drug sales in a rural town were nabbed by Mexicali police.
The authorities reported the incident at 1:20 a.m. Saturday in Ciudad Morelos rural town.
The suspects were identified as Jesus Guadalupe, 23, of Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, and Juan Carlos, 38, of the Mexican state of Jalisco.
Police officers reported that the suspects were on a gray 2004 Jeep Cherokee with no plates and driven in excess of speed.
Police officers observed inside the vehicle several small bags of drugs. The police said residents accused the suspects of shootings in the area and sale of drugs.
