Six individuals, including a woman, were found dead in three different rural areas, according to media reports.

One of the incidents was reported at 8:28 p.m. Sunday in the race track of Cuervitos rural town.

A report was made at the emergency center regarding two men and a woman who were found dead.

The reporting party told the police at least 10 shots were heard in the area.

Upon arrival the police found a gray RZR vehicle. The victims were found inside and around the vehicle with shot wounds in the head.

The police declared the victims’ death.

In a separate incident, the bodies of two individuals were found burned in the dunes of Ejido Villa Zapata rural town around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The reporting party told the police that parts of bodies were observed among vehicle tires.

The police confirmed finding the corpses at the scene.

The authorities said the victims were men.

The other case was reported at 7:40 p.m. in the Ciudad Morelos rural town clinic of the Mexican Institute of Social Security.

According to the reports the victim, who was identified as Jorge Ampelio Quintero Curiel, 41, was shot to death after accusing the suspect of stealing a four wheeler.

A witness told the police the fatal victim had his ATV stolen weeks ago in Mexicali.

During a race event that took place in town the victim observed a four wheeler similar to the one that was previously reported stolen.

After asking the individuals who had the four-wheeler one of the suspects brandished a firearm and shot the victim.

The victim succumbed to the injuries.
