A Mexicali soccer player has joined the so-called basic forces of Mexican League America club.

Player Josué Zaid Quintero recently traveled to Mexico City in order to take tests with the club.

After trials, the young player was selected to join the club’s youth team.

The 16-year-old Cachanillas Football Club player will now move to his new club’s house in Mexico City.

The Mexicali team said Joshi was first selected during the Copa Cachanilla his 2006 team recently won. The local club said in a prepared statement that Quintero was selected for his abilities with the soccer ball.
