A state official said vaccination of minors aged 12-17 will start soon.

However, those minors must have underlying conditions.

State Secretary of Public Health Alonso Pérez Rico said those eligible for the vaccine can register in the Mexican platform.

The state official said all teenagers will get the Covid-19 vaccine once minors with underlying health issues get vaccinated.

Those health issues include illnesses of the heart, lung, kidney, liver, digestive system, among others. Sec. Pérez Rico said vaccination to minors is expected to start next month.
