Three individuals were indicted by a Sonoran state judge for their alleged involvement in the shooting at seven police officers of San Luis Rio Colorado while fleeing from Baja California state police agents.

The suspects, who were identified as Javier, Erick and Jesus Armando, fled on May 21 from Mexicali police officers.

The suspects allegedly shot at the Mexicali Police agents in a rural area while fleeing on a GMC Yukon.

Two San Luis Rio Colorado police officers were injured during the shooting, as well as Erick.

Police officers shot another suspect, who was identified as Salvador, 32, who succumbed to the injuries. The suspects were indicted for attempted homicide and criminal association.
