Two men were shot Monday evening in Southern Mexicali close to the Police Headquarters.

According to media reports the incident was notified to the police at 8 p.m. in Fonelas Street in the Fraccionamiento Quintas del Rey area.

Upon arrival the police found the injured men on the street.

The victims had wounds that did not put their lives in risk.

The victims told the police the suspect fled on a black Cadillac.

A firearm was found by the police in a bar located close to the scene. According to media reports the police apparently attested an agent who was allegedly involved in the incident.
